I Believe That What Ever Doesn't Kill Us, Simply Makes Us... StrangerWatched The Dark Knight again yesterday.May watch it again tonight. Don't tell anyone, but I found, completely by accident, through no fault of my own, a high quality telesync copy of the movie. By no means even remotely close to a DVD copy, but it is probably the finest telesyncs I have ever seen. But now that I have had the opportunity to watch it at home, I am even more certain that Ledger will get an Oscar nomination, an probably even the statue. And the reason is simple. It's not that he plays a maniac perfectly. It's not that his Joker is a superb villain. It's the little things. It's the few more peaceful moments that Joker has, that makes him a remarkably complex character. The way Ledger displays minute, almost hidden signs of weakness. Second time around usually makes an action movie weaker. This time, I am even more thrilled, even when I know what's coming. It's gold, because the action is second place, the characters come first. God damn!! 09:55 - 2008-Jul-31 - post comment

I noticed that he never told the same story twice about how he got the scars.
I'd go see this again too :)
